I transport my bacon home in a reusable canvas bag but to each his own... Shot's a little fuzzy what with the driving, the rain and the hysterical laughing. Love small town living.
I love it -- I too burst out laughing and remembered only a few short weeks ago that I had a 10 point buck that decided to drop on the hood of our car! At least the guy in front of you had chose to do this -- I did not! Happy New Year -- what a great start! Sheila
Lucky capture! I,too, prefer hunters etc to cover their game so I don't have to look at a once majestic animal in it's lowest moment. Don't misunderstand...I'm not anti-hunting. I just appreciate a little respect for the animal who has provided sport for the hunter.
This is just such a weird sight to see, today we're having temps near 40C, and I could see that pig being roasted by the end of the journey if it was being transported around like that here. In answer to your question about the trees being partially black, I think it's what happens to the bark as it ages, before eventually falling off to reveal a smooth surface underneath.
That made me burst out laughing....great capture
ReplyDeleteOh, yuck! I hate passing a truck full of hunters with deer feet and heads sticking out every which way. Bleah. Great catch (???)
ReplyDeleteHope no one rear ends their bacon from crying from laughing so hard! Definitely not a sight you see every day (not even here in Nebraska) lol
ReplyDeleteLOL! Hope they didn't have to far to travel to get their bacon processed.
ReplyDeleteLorri....This is a riot....what a find!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow ... I'd love to know the story of this. What a find though.
ReplyDeleteThe word verifer was 'shoted' ;-)

Did you follow them home..and then you can take all their delicious bacon! What a shot!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Good photo, and now I want a BLT for lunch.
ReplyDeleteHad this photo in mind at lunch as hubby enjoyed split pea and HAM soup, and I had a HAM sandwich. LOL! Fun photo!
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! Looks like something I might see in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Good on you to get the shot at all.
